Philadelphia International Airport is only a quick 60-minute drive via the Atlantic City Expressway. Train transportation and schedules to Atlantic City are provided by NJ Transit, which arrives and departs through the rail terminal adjacent to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.

There is frequent bus/motorcoach service from New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC via all major carriers, including Academy, Greyhound, Shoreline Express, Saddle River Tours and NJ Transit.

Atlantic City transportation makes everything within the city readily accessible to visitors from Philadelphia and points in New Jersey with NJ Transit buses. With our popular passenger Jitney, Atlantic City visitors can move the entire length of Pacific Avenue, parallel to Atlantic City's world famous Boardwalk, to the Marina District and to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in no time.

NJ Transit trains run from Philadelphia. Atlantic City International Airport is just 12 minutes from downtown. The 319 bus offers year service from Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City to Atlantic City, with limited stops in Jersey City, Newark, and Toms River.

The best way to get around in Atlantic City is on your own two feet – most attractions are within walking distance of one another. If you're worn out from walking, you can hop on the AC's Jitney minibuses or be pushed along the boardwalk in a shaded rolling chair.

Atlantic City Jitney provides complimentary shuttle service from the Rail Terminal to all Atlantic City casinos, the bus station (under special or emergency circumstances), and back to the Rail Terminal.
